Pricing
Our principle is simple: what is automated is free or cheap, human help costs real money — and an ordinary private listing never costs anything. Here you can always see what things cost now, and what they are going to cost. No surprises, no prices hidden behind "contact us".
🎉 Through all of 2027, everything on Monti is free — for businesses too.
The prices below show what the services are planned to cost after the campaign period, so you know long before it happens.
For private individuals
| Service | Price now | After 2027 |
|---|---|---|
| Listing in all categories — car, home, boat, second-hand market No expiry fees, no renewal cost. Your listing never disappears behind a paywall. |
Free | Free — always |
| Featured listing — 7 days at the top of the results | €0 through 2027 | €10 |
| Monti+ — SMS alerts on saved searches and more (30 days) | €0 through 2027 | €5 |
For comparison: selling a home through an estate agency in Malta typically costs around 5% of the sale price in commission. Listing it yourself on Monti costs nothing — the basic tools are automated, so they stay free.
For businesses
| Service | Price now | After 2027 |
|---|---|---|
| Business account — company profile, business centre with sales statistics and a shared inbox,
REST API for inventory sync, unlimited listings in all categories No lock-in, no annual price adjustment, cancel any time. |
€0 through 2027 | €49/month |
We do not promise that the business services will be free forever — we promise that the price always appears here first, that it is announced well in advance, and that it stays a fraction of what the established players charge.
The principles behind the prices
- The basic listing is free forever for private individuals — the marketplace lives off people finding things here, not off charging for participation.
- Automated = cheap. What the machines do (listings, matching, alerts) costs us little — so it should cost you little or nothing.
- Human help = a real price. When a human helps you personally, it costs real money — and then the price is stated clearly here first.
