Customer service & FAQ
Customer service and frequently asked questions
We want Monti to be easy to use — and easy to get help with when something gets stuck. On this page you will find answers to what people most often ask about. If you don't find your answer here, we are just an email away.
How to contact us
Send us an email at support@pjazzo.com. Please write a little about what your enquiry concerns, and include the listing's link if your question is about a specific listing. That helps us help you faster.
Does it cost anything to post a listing?
No. Getting started is free. You can create and publish a listing at no cost — and an ordinary private listing stays free, always. If you want to give your listing extra visibility, you can choose to feature it; that too is free through 2027, and the planned price after that is published on our prices page. See "How do I feature my listing?" further down.
How do I edit or delete a listing?
Log in, go to My listings, and select the listing you want to change. There you can update text, price and photos, or mark the listing as sold. If you want to remove it completely, choose Delete listing. The changes become visible immediately.
How do I contact a seller?
Open the listing you are interested in, and use Contact the seller. That puts you in direct dialogue with the person who posted the listing. Monti is a meeting place — buyer and seller agree on price, pickup and payment directly between themselves. We do not receive money and are not an intermediary in the transaction.
How do I create an account or log in with a passkey?
You can create an account in a moment. We use passkeys, so you can log in securely with your fingerprint, face or your device's screen lock — without remembering a password. Choose Log in, follow the steps, and your device handles the rest. A passkey is both simpler and more secure than an ordinary password.
I have forgotten my password — what do I do?
If you use a passkey, you don't need to remember any password at all — you log in with your device as usual. If you still can't log in, for example because you have changed phones, you can register a new passkey or contact us at support@pjazzo.com, and we will help you from there.
Why can't I see the seller's contact information?
To protect privacy we do not display contact details openly on the listing. You get in touch through Contact the seller, and your enquiry is passed on safely. This makes it harder for bad actors to harvest contact information, and keeps the marketplace tidy for everyone.
How do I report fraud?
See something that seems too good to be true, or a listing that doesn't feel right? Use the Report button on the listing, and we will look into it. You can also send us an email. Other good advice: meet in a public place in daylight, inspect the item before you pay, use traceable payment, and be cautious about paying in advance.
How do I feature my listing?
If you want more people to see your listing, you can boost it. A featured listing gets better visibility in search and lists, so it reaches more potential buyers. Featuring is free through 2027 as part of our launch campaign; after that it will carry a small fee, always announced on the prices page first. You will find the option when you create the listing, or later under My listings. It is always optional — your listing works just as well without it.
What is Monti's role in a transaction?
Monti is a facilitator and a meeting place — we connect buyer and seller. The transaction itself, including price, pickup and payment, you agree on directly. We handle no money and are not a party to the agreement between buyer and seller.
What are my rights if I bought from a business?
If the seller was acting in the course of a trade or business, you have mandatory rights under Maltese and EU consumer law — the item must be as described and of satisfactory quality, and for purchases concluded entirely at a distance you generally have a 14-day right of withdrawal. Raise the problem with the trader first. If that doesn't resolve it, the Malta Competition and Consumer Affairs Authority (MCCAA) — mccaa.org.mt — offers guidance and conciliation, and smaller monetary claims can go to the Consumer Claims Tribunal. Purely private sales between individuals are not covered by these consumer-guarantee rules — there, the deal is what you agreed between yourselves.
How do I complain about Monti itself?
Email us at support@pjazzo.com and tell us what went wrong — we read everything and answer as quickly as we can. If you feel we haven't resolved it, consumers in Malta can contact the MCCAA, and questions about personal data can go to the Information and Data Protection Commissioner (idpc.org.mt).
